Edge of December - Pilgrimage Arc
Edge of December follows the journeys of Kieron Alsmith, Trife Eidolon and James "Baron" Kuldunov, surrogate brothers who are trying to find their place in the world. In the first Arc of the story,Trife runs amok, Baron provides acerbic commentary, and Kieron tries to hold it all together while they attempt to restart their father's dojo in the mafia controlled city of Halstead. To achieve their goals they'll have to make new friends and will learn that they've inherited some of their late fathers enemies.

Saga 01 - Prologue
Kieron, Trife and Baron find themselves stranded in a strange town when their car breaks down. They find themselves quickly welcomed by the local residents, but not everything is as it seems. Neither the small community nor the travelers are what they seem at first glance. Will the town be ready for the chaos that the trio brings into their midst?

Three brothers are forced to find help along the road when their car breaks down unexpectedly.
Chapter - 002 St. Dismas (Part 1)
Kieron, Trife, and Baron hitch a ride into town, but something seems a bit off.

After the town turns on the boys, they must fight their way out to survive.

I gave this a try largely based on the cover art. I don't think the cover art makes much sense to the overall story. The plot is cliche and not all that good. The sense of things is lost very quickly. The violence is not balanced by humanity. Characters are flat and underdeveloped.

Amazing book a must read for anyone
Have been enjoying the evolution, growth and technical progress of this webcomic from the beginning and I am very impressed with the character development, the story line, the asides and the richness of backgrounds and details in the sceneries. If you appreciate a well crafted story and beautiful imagery and what that conjures up in imagination, you will not be disappointed by becoming a regular reader of this webcomic, I am a fan of EdgeOfDecember...hope you become one too!
For anyone like me who has been searching for a manga to read on kindle, give this a read. It's free. It is not great, but it is not bad. I read it in ten minutes, so it isn't a big investment.
Easy to follow though a bit over the top, would continue to read more and see what there is to see
Engaging story, fun graphics. Entertaining reading the arc all at once. The characters are as developed as Tarantino's. well worth the time.
I have also been reading this online since it was first introduced years ago. Glad to see it is on and I was able to read it on my kindle. Well designed, well written, great overall! Can't wait for the next installment!
